On Monday evening, Várri Consultancy’s Founder and Managing Director, Johnny Kollin, had the honour of attending a dinner reception hosted by Her Excellency Angelica Schempp, Consul General of Switzerland in Dubai. The event was graced by the newly appointed Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Arthur Mattli.
Innovation at the ForefrontThe gathering was timely as the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2023 had just announced Switzerland as the world’s most innovative economy for the 13th consecutive year, closely followed by Sweden in second place.
The evening also saw participation from the Swiss Business Council and innovative Swiss companies currently exhibiting at the Swiss Pavilion at the ongoing Gitex Global – the world’s largest tech show. Conversations were multifaceted and insightful, ranging from high-speed cameras, regional trends in testing, inspection and certification in international trade to tokenised impact investment in climate-related projects, branding strategies, and updates on the local legal and regulatory landscape.
Such engagements are vital for Várri Consultancy as they present opportunities to exchange knowledge and foster relationships that can significantly benefit our clientele.
