As the festive season approaches, Várri Consultancy was honoured to participate as a Crystal Snow Sponsor at the Swedish Business Council’s highly anticipated Swedish Julbord 2024, held at the Bluewaters Forum by Banyan Tree, Dubai.
The event transported attendees into a snowy Nordic wonderland with glimmering lights, Scandinavian decor, and an atmosphere brimming with warmth and community. The evening celebrated the rich traditions of a Swedish Christmas, blending cultural heritage with modern festivities.
We were delighted to share our table with valued clients, trusted partners, and dear friends, creating an opportunity to connect and celebrate in the season's spirit. The culinary journey featured a delectable four-course Swedish-inspired menu, including iconic favourites like pickled herring, gravlax, tender beef brisket, and the dessert "Ris à la Malta".
Cecilia Carlswärd, Chairman of the Swedish Business Council, reflected on her cherished Christmas memories and highlighted SBC’s accomplishments as the organisation's 30th anniversary year comes to an end.
H.E. Mr. Fredrik Florén, Ambassador of Sweden to the UAE, shared an insightful speech reflecting on the Swedish Embassy’s impactful initiatives and global developments.
The evening’s performances were nothing short of spectacular. From the soulful voice of Sean Lipsey to the stunning duets of Emily Peacock and Lisette Vega and the captivating saxophone melodies of Matt West, the event was a feast for the senses. The energetic beats of DJ Akmaral carried the night into celebration.
One of the standout moments was a breathtaking dance performance by Art of Entertainment, set to Jon-Henrik Fjällgren’s jojk ‘Mountain Dance’—a tribute to themes of nature and tradition that resonate deeply with our brand, Várri Consultancy.
